Fees & Terms

We provide fully for everything your child may need whilst at the nursery, hence all fees are inclusive of meals, snacks, nappies and formula milk.

Full Day Session: 8am-6pm, Morning Session: 8am-1pm, Afternoon Session: 1pm-6pm

Nightingales is a registered nursery that works alongside the government voucher scheme. The scheme aims to reduce the monthly costs of childcare for children aged 3 years and above. We are happy to receive any childcare vouchers given by employers as a method of payment towards childcare costs.

Siblings of children already attending the nursery are entitled to a reduction of 15% in fees providing that their parent/carer is paying the full fees.

All fees are due in advance and paid by standing order on a monthly basis. Cash payments are not routinely accepted, however if in exceptional circumstances fees are paid in cash, a handling charge of £7 will apply. There is a charge of £10 for late payments and an administration fee of £12 for returned cheques. 

The fees are worked out on a 48-week basis, which equates to 4 weeks for every calendar month. This allows for 1 week Easter holiday, 1 week Christmas holiday and 2 weeks general holiday including any absences. The fees are non-refundable in case of any other absences.

We are not able to offer places on a daily “crèche” basis. It is a requirement that each child attends the nursery for a minimum of 3 sessions per week.

Parents/carers are required to give at least 4 weeks notice upon withdrawing of their child from the nursery for both short and long periods. The nursery cannot guarantee the child’s place/session in the event that a readmission is requested. Upon confirmation of place a minimum deposit of 2 weeks fees or £150 whichever is greater is required which is refundable when the child leaves the nursery. The deposit will however be non-refundable should there be a cancellation of the reserved place before the child begins to attend the nursery. Please note, that though we aim to support parents/carers we reserve the right to refuse admission of a child in the event of the fees not being paid by due date.
